Brock J. Atkins focuses his practice on complex civil litigation matters. He is a highly recognized trial lawyer with more than 50 cases tried to jury verdict in both state and federal court. His experience includes litigating matters involving civil rights violations, employment discrimination, personal injury and class actions.

Before joining the Tucker Law Group, Mr. Atkins worked for the City of Philadelphia Law Department in the Civil Rights Unit and the Tort Claims Unit as a Divisional Deputy City Solicitor. As a City Solicitor, Mr. Atkins provided advice and counseling to various City departments. Mr. Atkins also trained attorneys in the Law Department on effective trial, oral and written advocacy. He has lectured at national conferences on trial advocacy, jury selection, municipal liability and police/community relations.

Mr. Atkins coordinated efforts between the Department of Justice and the Philadelphia Police Department, and helped the City implement the Department of Justice’s recommendations. Committed to improving police/community relations, Mr. Atkins served as the liaison between the Law Department and the Police Oversight Board.

Mr. Atkins is a graduate of Georgetown University Law School. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Georgia. He lives in the Germantown section of the City with his wife and three children.
