TLG has represented clients accused of police brutality, excessive force, false imprisonment and assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent supervision of employees. In addition, TLG is at the forefront of defending entities accused of allowing third parties access to their property to commit crimes. TLG has developed a network of experts and strategies that allow it to defend some of the most heinous crimes committed on clients’ property. This is a frequent concern for property owners in urban areas where clients are sued because of unforeseen criminal acts on their property. In fact, TLG recently prevailed in a two-month jury trial in which its client was accused of inadequate security in its parking lot, which allegedly allowed a criminal to abduct and subsequently murder a patron. TLG also recently defended and won a jury verdict in an excessive force case tried in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County.
